In our first project with North Star, they turned our dining room into a library, with custom built-in entertainment center, and our family room into a dining room, with new woodwork and doors.

I work in the construction industry, and North Star was recommended to me as a highly reputable firm, with solid community values. When I met with them, I could tell they understood what Sharon and I were trying to do and that they could do it well.

On our second project, a major expansion, North Star’s bid was the lowest, though I had every reason, once again, to think they would provide quality work and the project would be done right. They redid the face of the house, with a new stone exterior; added ten feet to the front of the house; moved walls; added windows; and built a three-car garage.

I’ve been extremely happy with their work and can recommend North Star highly. You can’t top someone who stands behind his work, like North Star, and is totally committed to customer satisfaction. Someone whom you can trust. Someone that’s friendly and accommodating. In the remodeling business, I know, you can run into all kinds of unexpected problems; North Star handled most of these without adding cost, and when they had to they were very fair.

When people come to visit for the first time after the remodeling, they sometimes don’t recognize the house. Sometimes they drive right by. It’s been a complete transformation.
