Name: Craig Strandlund
Position: Foreman & finished carpenter
Ive had more than twenty years' experience, and I've done
a lot of jobs over the years. Somehow the work seems to get easier
the older I get.
I especially like indoor work such as installing kitchens and fine-tuning
the trim work.
One job I can recall with a great deal of pride was an all-nighter
I spent with an assistant; we spent the night finishing the job,
which had to be done, and getting to know each other and the ways
we work.
About the nicest thing a customer ever said to me was "You
really care about detail. Thanks for all the overtime you put in
to get the job completed on time!"
My wife Nicole and I have six children: Colin, Tyler, Kendall,
Anders, Lauren, and Erik. My hobbies, naturally, include spending
time with my kids, playing baseball, basketball, and tennis, and
camping with them as often as we can.
The carpentry job keeps me away from home during the day, which
is fine during the school year because most of the kids are in school
and we get home about the same time. In the summer, though, the
kids just have to wait until I get home. Then the hard work begins.
I relieve Nicole so she can relax.
